The Mavericks, a contemporary art quilt chapter of the Arizona Quilters Guild (AQG), is open to anyone in Arizona with an interest in art quilts and a desire to "work outside their comfort zone.”
Members of Mavericks must also be members of Arizona Quilters Guild. Membership and information can be obtained at www.azquiltersguild.org.
The Mavericks promote fiber arts by sharing design ideas and art quilting techniques, and holding regular public shows. Fabric is their canvas, texture is their accent, and creative design is their focus.
